Text Messaging: Check your contact details are up to date with reception ASAP to make the most of our new text messaging service, where your doctor, nurse or receptionist will pass on important information to you or ask you to book an appointment. 

When We Are Closed

Please phone the surgery at all times on 0121 474 5186. During normal surgery hours your details will be taken and given to the duty doctor. At other times, you may be put through to a local 'out of hours' centre. 

In emergencies such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding, please call 999 directly, or for something less severe call 111.

NHS 111

NHS 111 is much more than a helpline – if you're worried about an urgent medical concern, you can call 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser.

Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if they think you need one.

NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.
